Our Nursing Documentation Workshop is led by an experienced Registered Nurse with extensive experience in clinical investigations and as a Clinical Nurse Educator. Drawing on real-world clinical and investigative experience, the workshop provides practical strategies to help nurses strengthen their documentation skills and confidently navigate challenging documentation situations. Workshop Objectives; 1. Understanding the legal framework for clinical documentation 2. Recognize how professional standards, Organizational policies, and Health protection/Privacy legislation impact documentation 3. Examine charting styles 4. Review communication tools: SBAR, IDRAW, Handover reports 5. Identify the Dos and Don'ts of Documentation 6. Discuss Abbreviation in practice 7. Review incident reports, and sharing of information (law enforcement, family, client, healthcare providers)
