However, the Virtual Classes and In-Person Classes are scheduled for specific dates and times. You will be able to select your preferred dates for the live portions during your official enrollment.

Generally, we recommend completing your in-person components (IV Insertion, ACLS, and PALS) at the same baseline location (e.g., doing all of them in Calgary) to prevent scheduling conflicts. If you have an urgent relocation or emergency, contact our team as early as possible to see if a location transfer is available.

The Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) is highly intense and globally recognized. The Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) requires a minimum of 45 days for students to thoroughly read the provider manual and complete the online modules before sitting through the intensive 2-day live virtual instructor sessions. An active Heart & Stroke Foundation BLS certification is a strict prerequisite for both ACLS and PALS. If your BLS is set to expire before September 2026, you must renew it prior to the start of your advanced courses.
