ACLS Blended (1 Day) @Vancouver/Burnaby

Heart & Stroke’s traditional classroom-based, instructor-led Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) has been re-factored to enable self-directed learning during the COVID-19 pandemic.

ACLS Blended course is delivered in 2 parts:  

• Part 1: Self-Directed cognitive component – This is an online self-directed learning. Successful participants will earn a temporary certificate, indicating they passed this self-directed component. Part 1 prepares healthcare providers with the knowledge and ability to be an effective member of a healthcare team and get them up-to-speed quickly during the COVID-19 pandemic. 
• Part 2: Hands-on skills practice and skills testing component – Once physical distance requirements have been amended, students will need to take and pass an in-classroom Part 2 to earn their full ACLS Provider certification, valid for 2 years.

•  NOTE - Beats and Breaths Academy Ltd. charge course fee for the in-person (Part 2 skills) instruction only.  ACLS self directed Part 1 (Online) will be available directly from your Heart and Stroke portal. Students are responsible for the material and online course access fee of $46.95 directly to Heart and Stroke foundation and it is a non-refundable fee. 
• This include the latest ACLS student manual online access for the student. Beats and Breaths Academy Ltd. does not hold any financial accountability the course fee paid to Heart and Stroke foundation. There is a minimum 3 participants mandatory requirement set by Heart and Stroke foundation to conduct a course. In the case of the minimum participants requirement are not met the course shall be rescheduled to next available date or offered a full refund of the ACLS Part 2 skills course fee.
